Sound quality wasn't good anyway--and they came broken |
Even on the Lightning Deal (12 bucks), they weren't worth the price. They're a decent size, but as is typical of cheap over-ear headphones, they really start to irritate your ears in around a half hour of straight use. The bass was relatively weak, the separation was hard to notice, and overall the performance just wasn't in any way noteworthy.
It didn't help that my pair showed up with a blown right-ear speaker. The subwoofer, or whatever tiny magnet technology is employed in headphones to allow for bass, was busted and rattled the first time I tried them on. Any song with any amount of bass at any all (like 30% volume) just ruined the experience--back they went to Thesmartoutlet. I bought a pair of smaller 8.99 headphones as my throw-away monitors and I like them much better--plus they actually worked out-of-box :) |

Wonderful -- I am not a DJ -- great for those with a hearing loss |
These headphones are amazing. I have a hearing loss and wear hearing aids. With these I can listen to music without my aids and discern the words, music, etc. easily. I have some Bose which are, of course, great, but for my needs the diction is crisper, and the overall experience is better with these.
Note: You'll need an adapter to plug it into a PC. |

blew out the left headphone listening to meditation music... |
|
These were nice until the left side speaker blew while listening to meditation music...go figure right? They were a gift but the lasted less than a year and I was more than careful with it as far as I am concerned. But I can't even pretend to not here the rattle of the broken speaker. So I'm stuck using my ear buds until I get some new ones. I won't buy these again. |

Great Headphones for a Great Price |
|
I bought these headphones during the Thesmartoutlet Gold Box Deal when they were 10.99. I've been using them for a couple of days and I have to say these headphones are great, especially for 10.99. I think the normal price is 17.99 which is an exceptional price for these. They're not the best headphones around but those can cost 5-20x more. If you're looking for a reasonable price set then these are the ones to get |
