Product Description |
|
This state of the art coffeemaker lets you fine tune the process from filtering the water you brew with to keeping the brewed coffee at the precise temperature you desire. If you're the impatient type you can grab a cup before brewing is complete (or program your coffee to be ready and waiting at wake up time), and if you tend to be forgetful, this appliance has auto shut off. Seems as though Cuisinart has covered all the bases in this deluxe coffeemaker. |

Thesmartoutlet.com Review |
|
Strikingly retro in brushed stainless-steel with black-plastic accents, this 12-cup coffeemaker includes Cuisinart's best brewing technology and premium features for ease and flexibility. The digital clock/timer is programmable for automatically brewing "wake-up" coffee at a selected time and for turning off the warming plate up to four hours in advance. Removing the glass carafe from the warming plate automatically pauses the brewing process for a quick pour, and the warming plate's temperature can be adjusted. For maximum flavor, the machine can be set to brew one to four 5-ounce cups or five to twelve cups, and it includes a charcoal water filter. For convenience, a permanent Gold Tone filter eliminates messy paper filters and an indicator-light shows when decalcification is needed. The coffeemaker measures 14-1/4 inches high, 8 inches wide, and 10-3/4 inches deep (including carafe handle) and carries a three-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack |

Great Choice |
|
This replaced another Cuisinart that I had for three years. I am well satisfied with this item with the exception of the small opening to pour water into the cavity. The brew produes a very good quality of coffee. I throughly enjoy my morning coffee and use only high quality beans that I grind myself. I was very disapointed that my previous machine "conked" out on me after just three plus years. |

Great coffee maker at a great price! |
|
Well folks, I really like the coffee maker. It makes the coffee quickly and quit hot, much hotter that my last coffee maker. The only criticism that I would have is that it is a little difficult pouring the water into the unit. You have to really concentrate while pouring, this can be a little difficult when just waking up. Other than that, nice unit! |

Great Coffee Maker |
Love the Cuisinart. Already had one and bought another for the cottage. Good coffee is very important to both my husband and to me and coffee that brews hot and stays hot is a must for him. This is the only coffee maker that has fulfilled those criteria and leaves us with smooth tasting coffee. Durable, compact, classy looking and easy to operate and maintain.
Only con is the lettering could be a little bigger for those of us who can't read small writing. But the trade off is worth all the pros of the Cuisinart. |

machine stops working |
|
Loved the coffee but...first machine stopped working after a couple years. Bought a new one June 2009 and by the end of July 2010 once again the machine stops working. We faithfully cleaned it and used it only once a day. No more Cuisinart for me. |

Short life span - not worth it |
|
I purchased this product and within the warranty period had to get a replacement because it started leaking. Cuisinart did send me another coffee maker; however, I was responsible for paying for shipping. The second unit that was sent had problems within the warranty period again, this time it would not turn on at all. Cuisinart did not stand by their product and replace the second unit. I spoke to their representative at their 1-800 number and spoke to a manager named "clint", who refused to acknowledge that from a consumer standpoint having to replace a malfunctioning coffee pot repeatedly does not speak well to the durability of their product. |
