Super Gift |
I received this as a birthday gift from my husband. LOVE IT! It is so easy to navigate around the menu and being able to change the font allows me to read without my glasses (added bonus). So exciting to know I have thousands of books at my fingertips. |

Barb's Kindle Review |
I like the Kindle, although it takes some getting used to. I wish the Kindle had page numbers, rather than locations and percentages, this does not help me find where I last was. Sometimes the Kindle flips off and goes back to home and I lose where I was, so to find my previous location I have to hunt (rarely do I remember the chapter number). I would like to hold (bookmark?) a page to be able to go back to it repeatedly (flip back and forth) while I continue reading, I don't know if that's possible. |

How did I get along without a Kendle |
This is a very important item for me. I travel a lot and I can take a load of books in my purse. The Kendle is my new BFF. |

Kindle 6" Wireless Reading Device |
This is really great! I love the portability and the ease of use. I would love to see it in color and with a touch screen, though. The buttons, while an improvement over the first generation, are still kind of clunky. I would like to see the keyboard integrated into the screen as a touch, so you could either have more screen space or make the device even smaller. I would also like to see Thesmartoutlet come up with a way to share the books or make them less expensive. I bought the book, so I should be able to share it, just like I do a physical book. It's no fun to tell a friend, "you have to read this great book I just finished! But, you'll have to buy it to read it". As far as the cost, they should be really inexpensive, since there are no production, copying or distribution costs. |

Forget the iPad |
Bougt this for my wife for Christmas. She is an avid reader and we have the books to prove it. Thought she might like having a way to carry them with her more easily. She absolutely loves it. Now she doesn't have to figure out what to pack for a trip or plan a trip to the store to find something new. She reads it every night and it works out perfectly. I was concerned when the iPad came out right after I got this but for our needs this works out better. Costs less, free wifi, smaller form factor, longer battery life, better book store. |
